Perfect place to spend the Christmas

                                                             
  You have to be really committed to the idea of a cold, white Christmas to want to head to Alaska for the holidays. But for some people, Alaska is the North Pole. In fact, since 1952, thousands of children who have written to Santa with their Christmas wishes have sent their letters to the Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska (near Fairbanks). The Santa Claus House also writes letters back to kids, indeed a very exciting prospect for a child still moved by stories of Saint Nick. Wintertime is also prime time for catching the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, in Alaska. Indeed, if you can handle the chill and snow, Alaska provides a picture-perfect place for spending Christmas.

Cinque Terre Liguria Italy

The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the Liguria region of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia. "The Five Lands" is composed of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Over the centuries, people have carefully built terraces on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs that overlook the sea. Part of its charm is the lack of visible corporate development. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages, and cars cannot reach them from the outside. The Cinque Terre area is a very popular tourist destination.

Cenote lake in the middle of the jungle!Yucatan Mexico

Ik Kil is a famous lake located in Yucatan, Mexico close to Chichen Itza, one of the most famous temples of the Maya.
In fact, as the lake is not exactly correct. This type of water is called cenotes and means a natural hollow, which was formed due to the collapse of solid limestone foundation, the water was revealed underneath.
For people to have access to the Cenote, located in the open and that measured about 26 feet deep, a special scale was carved directly into the rock.
Ik Kil is part of a very complex consists of restaurants, shops, locker rooms and cabins for rent. That area is found even a Mayan ruin at the time.
The landscape is truly fabulous and Ik Kil annually attracts me one hundred thousand tourists from around the world.

Seychelles Islands Africa

Seychelles is what is known as a tropical paradise. The unspoiled islands with beautiful beaches and a sea with excellent conditions for diving enthusiasts. It has a tropical climate with temperatures annually range between 25 and 30 ° C, with very rainy months from November to May when they are hit by monsoon winds.
 The Republic of Seychelles comprises 115 islands occupying a land area of 455 km² and an Exclusive Economic Zone of 1.4 km² in the western Indian Ocean. It represents an archipelago of legendary beauty that extends from between 4 and 10 degrees south of the equator and which lies between 480km and 1,600km from the east coast of Africa.  Of these 115 islands, 41 constitute the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on earth while a further 74 form the low-lying coral atolls and reef islands of the Outer Islands.

The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China in part to protect the Chinese Empire or its prototypical states against intrusions by various nomadic groups or military incursions by various warlike peoples or forces. Several walls were being built as early as the 7th century BC; these, later joined together and made bigger, stronger, and unified are now collectively referred to as the Great Wall. Especially famous is the wall built between 220–206 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. Little of that wall remains. Since then, the Great Wall has on and off been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced; the majority of the existing wall was reconstructed during the Ming Dynasty

Bora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, an overseas collectivity of France in the Pacific Ocean. The island, located about 230 km (140 mi) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. In the centre of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 m (2,385 ft).
Bora Bora is a major international tourist destination, famous for its aqua-centric luxury resorts. The major settlement, Vaitape is on the western side of the main island, opposite the main channel into the lagoon. Produce of the island is mostly limited to what can be obtained from the sea and the plentiful coconut trees, which were historically of economic importance for copra. According to a census performed in 2008, the permanent population of Bora Bora is 8,880.

Socotra Alien Island Yemen

 Socotra has been described as one of the most alien-looking place on Earth, and it’s not hard to see why. It is very isolated with a harsh, dry climate and as a result a third of its plant-life is found nowhere else, including the famous Dragon’s Blood Tree, a very-unnatural looking umbrella-shaped tree which produces red sap. There are also a large number of birds, spiders and other animals native to the island, and coral reefs around it which similarly have a large number of endemic (i.e. only found there) species. Socotra is considered the most biodiverse place in the Arabian sea, and is a World Heritage Site.

Machu Picchu Peru

Machu Picchu , "Old Peak") is a pre-Columbian 15th-century Inca site located 2,430 metres (7,970 ft)above sea level  Machu Picchu is located in the Cusco Region of Peru, South America. It is situated on a mountain ridge above the    Urubamba Valley in Peru , which is 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Cusco and through which the Urubamba River flows. Most archaeologist believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti  (1438–1472). Often referred to as the "City of the Incas", it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca World.
The Incas started building the "estate" around 1400, but abandoned it as an official site for the Inca rulers a century later at the time of the Spanish Conquest. Although known locally, it was unknown to the outside world before being brought to international attention in 1911 by the American historian Hiram Bingham. Since then, Machu Picchu has become an important tourist attraction. Most of the outlying buildings have been reconstructed in order to give tourists a better idea of what the structures originally looked like. By 1976, thirty percent of Machu Picchu had been restored. The restoration work continues to this day.

Morella Spain(One of the most beautiful villages of Spain)

Morella is an ancient walled city located on a hill-top in the province of Castellon, Valencian Community, Spain. The town is the capital and administrative centre of the comarca of Els Ports, in the historic Maestrat (Maestrazgo) region.

There are traces of settlement by the Iberians, succeeded by the Greeks and Romans, Visigoths and the Moors. From the early 17th century to the Spanish Civil War, the town was often fought over, due to its strategic situation between the Ebro and the coastal plain of Valencia. Morella is part of the Taula del Senia free association of municipalities.
Every six years the citizens celebrate the Sexenni, a commemoration of the town's recovery from the plague in the seventeenth century. Tourism now plays an important part in the local economy, along with agriculture. In the 20th century the town and surrounding area became depopulated, a trend that has only been reversed in the early 21st century. The population of Morella in 2008 was 2,854,having declined from a figure of 7,335 in 1900 ^.
One of the typical gastronomic products of Morella are sweets known as flaons. Local bakeries are also renowned for a number of other traditional pastries and sweets, like mantecados, prepared in the ancient way

 Riviera Maya, also known as the Mayan Riviera, is a tourism district following the coastal Highway 307 which parallels the Caribbean coastline of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, located on the eastern portion of the Yucatan peninsula. This district historically started at the city of Playa del Carmen and ended at the village of Tulum, although the towns of Puerto Morelos situated to the north and between Playa del Carmen and Cancun as well as the town of Felipe Carillo Puerto situated 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the south of Tulum are both currently being promoted as part of the Riviera Maya tourist corridor.

Plitvice Lakes - National Park Unesco

Plitvice could be known as the Paradise of the water as it has 16 small lakes and multiple waterfalls and streams. Declared a Natural Park by the authorities of the former Yugoslavia in 1949, the Plitvice Lakes have been recognized by UNESCO as a nature reserve since 1979.

If you choose to visit during the week and first thing when the "population" of tourists is lower, the contemplation of the highest waterfall in the park, de76 meter free fall, or beech forests produce an effect of peace we can hardly reach tourists disturbing the silence.Plitvice is mostly beech (75%), pretty little fir and pine.
